World Symposium on Transport and Land Use Research 2014
A very interesting symposium focusing
on various aspects of land use - transport interaction (including engineering,
planning, modeling, behavior, economics, geography, regional science,
sociology, psychology, health, architecture and design, network science, and
complex systems) is to be held in Delft, NL, June 24-27, 2014, organized by the
World Society for Transport and Land Use Research (WSTLUR). The conference is
expected to provide a unique international forum for academics and
practitioners and to develop a better understanding of the interaction between
the dynamics of land use and transport, with an emphasis on the way in which
the built environment can contribute to more sustainable transport in a rapidly
changing world. All papers will be peer-reviewed, while the conference program
will also include plenary presentations from:
